The Southern Automotive Conference announced its first-ever Innovation Zone! Designed to showcase innovation revolutionizing automotive manufacturing, the high-tech, interactive Innovation Zone featured the most creative & cutting-edge technologies and enhanced solutions driving disruptive transformation across the industry.

New to the SAC, companies and individuals had the opportunity to demo breakthrough ideas and innovations.

Inaugural Composites Suppliers Meetings  October 9-11.  The event organizer, advanced business events (ABE), is a leading European organizer of business conventions or One-to-One meetings events, conferences, congresses dedicated to professionals in the industry.

ABE is proudly recognized in the industry as a key player whose business is to connect OEMs and suppliers through pre-arranged and business focused meetings and conferences.  Because of their international reach, they brought in companies from across the globe, presenting a great opportunity for South Carolina companies to begin or expand their international business.

The South Carolina Automotive Council (SCAC) was excited to offer a comprehensive overview of the SC automotive manufacturing Supply Chain and the financial impact of your sourcing, logistics and data strategies.

As a manufacturer, you rely on the supply chain efficiency to meet all your KPI.  We provided answers to foreign trade, logistics and data management questions at this special event with unique opportunities to tour, to share best practices and to consider potential solutions to industry challenges.

The 2nd Quarter SC Automotive Council Meeting focused on Advanced Manufacturing and Your Workforce. The South Carolina Automotive Council and the South Carolina Department of Commerce cohosted the 2^nd South Carolina Automotive B2B Supplier Matchmaker in Greenville, SC as part of SC Auto Week, February 21 – 27, 2016.  The matchmaker event was an opportunity for automotive suppliers to connect with OEM’s and Tier 1 companies statewide in a focused speed-dating event between procurement and engineering representatives and potential manufacturing suppliers.
